Curious ?[edit]

I have some questions regarding this statement "the band released the Eddie's Archive box set simultaneously.[3] Notably, neither edition features any songs from Paul Di'Anno's tenure."

1. According to the wikipage (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie%27s_Archive), Eddie's Archive was released 16 November 2002, while Edward the Great was released 4 November 2002? Not simultaneously, but close. I think that it may actually be a true statement here, however, and that the error is on the Eddie's Archive page, see my comments in the Talk Tab there. OR, it could be a discrepancy involving different release dates in different countries?

2. What is meant by "Neither edition features any songs from Paul Di'Anno's tenure"? - I'm assuming that the author means "neither edition" equals Edward the Great AND Eddie's Archive? By my count, however, there are 15 songs on the BBC Archive discs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC_Archives_(album)) and 11 songs on Beast Over Hammersmith (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beast_over_Hammersmith) (subsets of the Eddie's Archive). On the BBC Archives discs, 10 songs are actual live recordings of Paul's singing. Maybe I'm reading too much into the original statement, or maybe it's just wrong the way that it's written? Background ?[edit]

Actually, I may have just answered my own question to #2 above. Looking at the background section, there are two paragraphs. The statement about Paul Di'Anno comes at the end of the first paragraph, just as I have it pasted above.

I'm thinking now that what the author is talking about is the two editions of this cd, the 2002 version and the 2005 edition. The entire second paragraph of the Background section goes into detail about these two editions. I think that the sentence "Notably, neither edition features any songs from Paul Di'Anno's tenure." would be entirely correct and fitting as the last sentence of the second paragraph, but NOT in the first paragraph.

I'll wait for feedback before making such a change, unless someone else would like to go ahead and do it? Thanks! FiggazWithAttitude (talk) 15:34, 4 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
