This is one of the least neutral wikipedia articles I've ever read.

Well jump in, be bold and fix the problems. You could get rid of a lot of the material, or nominate the article for deletion. Just ask here if you need some help.--Commander Keane (talk) 01:34, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
agree that it's not very neutral. However, there probably should be an article - they were in fact one of the most significant bands in the Austin scene for a decade or so, and did fill some of the void left by the Butthole Surfers. Unfortunately, it's hard to describe a band with such a gigantic local impact on a very insular music scene, and trying to learn anything about Ed Hall outside of Austin is at best a pain. I know Lyman was from Manhattan, Kansas, but I don't remember for sure whether the other guys came out of there also (haven't been in Austin in a decade). 141.157.254.4 (talk) 19:25, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
oh, in terms of significance, Kevin Whitley also has a lengthy bit in the classic cult movie "Slackers" - he is the fellow who tosses his typewriter off of a bridge. 141.157.254.4 (talk) 19:27, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

material stolen from an online source[edit]

Most of the material in this article is taken directly from this source. 66.114.189.223 (talk) 05:22, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted the second paragraph from the "History" section as it seemed to be an obvious copy-paste. I didn't see anything else that appeared to have been copied from that source. Thanks for bringing it up, though. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 06:12, 25 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Missing a band member[edit]

I was in Ed Hall from 1985-1988, was cofounder and vocalist, played many shows, yet I am not listed. "Andy Colvin" thanks ---- — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.56.91.90 (talk) 02:05, 7 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
