centrifuge microscope or microscope centrifuge?[edit]

Wikipedia's Alfred Lee Loomis article states that "working with Edmund Newton Harvey, he co-invented the microscope centrifuge." A microscope or a centrifuge? A more competent editor than I might bring these statements into some accord.-Wetman (talk) 03:51, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

According to this source, "The centrifuge microscope (CM) is composed of a centrifuge and a microscope optical system designed to observe minute objects, especially living cells, during the application of centrifugal acceleration." Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:09, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
