Talk:Dynablaster

I am restoring the disambiguation page that was here before, on these grounds:

  • The page to which it was redirected doesn't mention anything about which particular games in the franchise were known as Dynablaster or Dyna Blaster – in at least some cases called by this name by itself, not qualified in any way. But it is just these few – not the Bomberman franchise as a whole, which most people would know as Bomberman. So it is likely that somebody who searches for Dynablaster will be looking for one of these specific games.
  • The recent IP edit refers to a game with a completely different name, Bomberman Land Battles, and didn't even mention Dynablaster as a name by which it is also known. What's more Bomberman Land Battles is a redlink at the moment. As such, it looks to me like a bogus edit of some form or another.

Also, that the TG-16 game was called Dyna Blaster (two words) is irrelevant, as people may also search for it as Dynablaster or DynaBlaster, just as well. Disambiguation pages aren't just for distinguishing between entities that are named alike bit for bit – close variations of the name can (and should) be addressed as well. — Smjg (talk) 22:48, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
