THE TROPHY

Circle of Stars

The trophy is based on a circle, the most simple and perfect shape, which creates a dynamic and elegant form under the movement’s pressure, like a wheel of a bike. It is designed to be lifted by the winner as a tribute to the racing riders in history, who used to carry their inner tubes crossed on their shoulders. The materials used have both an aesthetic and a symbolic role referring to Dubai; the silver and the metal of the skyscrapers, the multi-faceted crystals of the desert and the blue of the sea, turned in a perfect and regular form thanks to the action of speed.
