Bequest/Literary prizes[edit]

Why gay themes?[edit]

Who cannot adore the line, "Partially because Windham was influenced by his own life..."? Can the editor who first provided us with this gem provide, as a contrast, a list of writers who were not influenced by their own lives? While you do NOT have to be gay to write on gay themes, or straight to write on straight themes for that matter, it would be hard to write anything that was devoid of the influences from one's own life in some manner, if not a direct reflection of them.
