Removed the stub class. I don't think there's much more to tell about this fictional opera. Captain Chaos (talk) 12:54, 23 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fictional[edit]

I put the word "fictional" back in. If there really is "proof that the Phantom existed, and more than likely, so did his Don Juan Triumphant", then please provide references for that!Captain Chaos (talk) 13:11, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Opera within an opera/Story within a story[edit]

I don't mean to be overzealous or militant or anything, but the reason I thought that "opera within an opera" was an inappropriate term for the subject is that while "Don Juan Triumphant" is an opera, the Phantom of the Opera is not. Hi 15lLsoucy! I haven't been on much in recent weeks, so I'm sorry for the delayed reply. Yes, I'd certainly agree that although DJT is an opera (and a fictional one at that), POTO is technically a musical. Operas and musicals are closely related but not synonymous. However, calling either DJT or POTO just a "story" seems a very unsatisfying result to me as well. If you don't like the current form, I'd suggest this compromise: change the link description from "opera within an opera" to "opera within a musical" with the link still pointing at story within a story. Sound good? AzureCitizen (talk) 23:44, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for being understanding. It's fine by me. --15lsoucy salve.opus.nomen 01:49, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, looks good! AzureCitizen (talk) 03:16, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
