Northern portion of 811 referenced I-95 completion in the 1970's, but I-95 construction from PGA Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens to Fort Pierce was completed in the late 1980s. SR 811 (Alternate A1A) exists today entirely on the east side of the FEC RR line through all of Jupiter.

Additionally, the portion of the Old Dixie Highway west of the RR line near Frederick Small Road north to the medical center complex just south of Jupiter Lakes Blvd was abandoned by Palm Beach County ordinance 98-1852D. The Town of Jupiter re-established a short portion of that abandoned right-of-way in 2005 when the Botanica subdivision was planned and subsequently built.

The remaining portion of Old Dixie Highway on the west side of the FEC RR line within the Jupiter Town limits exists today from Botanica north to the Lands End subdivision at the Loxahatchee River / Jupiter Inlet with SR 811 (Alternate A1A) parallel to it immediately across the FEC RR line. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.239.80.28 (talk) 16:17, 20 February 2008‎ (UTC)[reply]
