Article is inaccurate[edit]

But, seemingly, cannot be changed... Dartmouth is listed as 'in use' but it is disused. Brixham is listed as 'in use' but it is disused. The article claims that there are 11 stations - but there are at least 13. Ah well.. Wembwandt (talk) 21:26, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How many stations?
    1. Newton Abbot (open)
    2. Kingskerswell (closed)
    3. Torre (open)
    4. Torquay (open)
    5. Preston Platform (closed)
    6. Paignton (open)
    7. Goodrington Sands (open)
    8. Broadsands Halt (closed)
    9. Churston (open)
    10. Britannia Halt (closed)
    11. Kingswear (open)
I make that 7 open + 4 closed = 11. Geof Sheppard (talk) 12:54, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Correct. But what about Dartmouth station and Brixham station? I make that 7 open + 6 closed = 13. Wembwandt (talk) 13:15, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This article is titled "Newton Abbot to Kingswear line" but a train between those two places would not pass through either Brixham or Dartmouth. Both those stations already have their own articles which do not need to be duplicated here. Geof Sheppard (talk) 07:39, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Dartmouth was on the NA to Kingswear line. It was the last station on that line. Wembwandt (talk) 09:29, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Scope of this article[edit]

This article is about disused stations between Newton Abbot and Kingswear but over time the title has been changed on a couple of occasions and now describes it as the Riviera Line. As that line runs from Exeter to Paignton, I propose that we change this article one more time so that it is Disused railway stations on the Newton Abbot to Kingswear Line.
