Two Pages

There are two pages on the 2007 dc games. One is this one, which is the best, and another is Disney Channel Games 2007 which is not very good. I think that the other page should be deleted as it is informal and one user seems to want to update it like their own website, as seen in the MVP section. It says 'MVP of the week' and then underneath 'coming soon'. I think that the user is planning to update daily as they have written 'more info tommorow'. Also the user has not stated their sources or put the page in a catergory. Anyone who agrees that it should be the page to delete sign below. Mouseinthehouse 15:22, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey, some people wrote Zac Efron, and I was so excited. Now, he is not written anywhere! Why, was it written in the first place? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Evergreengirl (talkcontribs) 00:25, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Split

I think we should split the articles into there seperate years as it is getting too packed, what do you all think. Thanks, MotorSportMCMXC 15:24, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

I think that: 1. It should remain one article 2. IF you are going to make a separate article, you shouldn't copy exactly what is on this article and put it on the new, separate article. Tsears

How do all you people know who is gonna be in the 2008 games, already? There are no sources and they have not even started yet. Evergreengirl —Preceding unsigned comment added by Evergreengirl (talkcontribs) 22:27, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

07' Green Team Winnings

Shouldn't it be noted how when people voted for points to be given to their favorite team, that the Green Team won all the points? Also, the Green team won MVP every week (exept the last 2). AND, the Green team won only 1 event?

I just took special consideration into the green team, and how they got to win. Abcw12 09:18, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

I think that they only won because Miley Cyrus was on that team. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.112.221.166 (talk) 19:48, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

Ya, I totally agree with you! Evergreengirl—Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.229.84.95 (talk) 21:51, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Sorry to bother anyone, but someone wrote Joe Jonas MVP for every week for 2007. I deleted it, so can someone please fix it to the original winners. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.229.84.95 (talk) 23:53, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

The Disney Channel Games: 2008 section reads like an advertisement.

examples:

" DisneyChannel.com users can vote for their favorite players and dive into the action via online versions of the "Disney Channel Games" seen each week."

"to be presented each week beginning Sunday, July 27 (8:00 p.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel"

"The special telecasts are highlighted by a post-Games concert featuring performances by Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, The Cheetah Girls, Demi Lovato and Jordan Pruitt."

" the games are fun, colorful and larger than life, but the competition is real and the young competitors are determined to win the prize "

...maybe it's just me, but I think Disney wrote this or whoever did is making it sound like a promo for the games.

2009 Games?

Isn't it a little early to be discussing the lineups and events for the '09 D.C. Games, especially considering the 2008 Games haven't aired yet. WAVY 10 Fan (talk) 19:27, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

Ashley Tisdale at the DC Games 2008?

Are you sure Ashley is there this year? At "Meet the players" ( www.disneychannelgames.com ) isn't she. 91.16.57.51 (talk) —Preceding undated comment was added at 18:41, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Questionable edit

I recently reverted the following edit:

It has been leaked by an unnamed participant that the red team will win. Disney has not confirmed this, however.

It was unsourced and potentially very controversial and fallacious. I am posting this here to make sure this was not a valid edit. Feel free to reinstate if I am mistaken. Washburnmav (talk) 19:24, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Votes

How can viewers vote for like stuff if like the games were like shot back in april i don tget it it wouldnt make a difference i mean wat happened already happened

Ok Like What The ***K??

Why does Wikipedia reveal the results on who won the competitions and there points for each week. I come to Wikipedia to be informed, not given spoilers! This sucks! Whatever "Top" person here that's an "official" needs to get the stick outta there ass and say, hey, this person might wanna be suprised at who wins!!!!

Team listings for 2006 and 2007

I think it would be good to list who was on which team for 2006 and 2007 as well. It would be a good reference for people Small5th (talk) 02:00, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

It USED to be there. Purplewowies (talk) 02:24, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

When a new movie premiers, they have to show the movie all weekend. Disney Channel does that EVERY time a new movie premieres. DC also does not show the games for one weekend EVERY year, because of the new DCOM. Last year, it was HSM2, the year before that, it was TCG2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.229.84.95 (talk) 17:34, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

2008 Winners

The Disney Channel Games finale is on August 30th. I don't think that there should be a winner written for this event, or for the total. Could somebody fix it, please??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.229.84.95 (talk) 17:31, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

I know I mean I saw it and I was like WOW but they might not even be true so I guess. And someone had erased them but they put them back up Lily love91 (talk) 20:01, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Lily love91 (talk) 20:01, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Disney Channel Games 2009?

Are you sure about the teams in Disney Channel Games 2009? Are you crazy! How do you know the competitions and the winners before the time?! You copied the competitions of the Disney Channel Games 2008. And, the teams are rares, how the Jonas Brothers will be in the same team? And Frankie Jonas? How you are sure about his apparence?! And another thing,..., HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT WILL BE THE SONGS IN DISNEY CHANNEL GAMES 2009?!!!, you wrote the songs do you love, are you crazy! CaRaNt11

There continues to be much speculation about the Disney Channel Games 2009 on this site. It is being made to appear as though the information is confirmed. Many people who plan to spend the time and money to travel to the tapings of the Disney Channel Games are using wiki as a source on various message boards. Please do not add any additional speculation about the dates, events, or participants of the DCG 2009 until Disney has confirmed it. (Dopey9928 (talk) 15:39, 15 January 2009 (UTC))

Verify changes made by 24.203.101.39

Could somebody verify the changes made by 24.203.101.39 a few days ago. I have the sneaky suspicion that their are incorrect but I'm not totally sure. The 10 changes Cyzor (talk) 16:10, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Disney Channel Games 2010

I deleted an unsourced sentence that said Disney Channel Games would be held in 2010. As of now, Disney Channel and the Hal Boedecker, the TV reporter of the Orlando Sentinel, say there will be no Disny Channel Games in 2010. Please do not include speculation about the 2010 games. Some people use Wikipedia to find information about the Games, before making travel plans to attend the filming of the Games in Orlando. Dopey9928 (talk) 00:20, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Someone added back again, and I can still find absolutely no statements to support it...will revert. Doconeill (talk) 14:00, 8 November 2009 (UTC)
Actually, I just removed the statement again...was too much of a pain to try and undo because of the several edits the person made. Doconeill (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:08, 8 November 2009 (UTC).
Haven't checked in a while, but this comment was put back, and still no citation. Disney has not announced anything and it increasingly unlikely that it will return in 2010. Removing it again... Doconeill (talk) 17:40, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
