Inconsistent notation?[edit]

I know just enough to be dangerous, so I might be completely wrong here. It seems to me that this article is inconsistent in its notation. Sometimes it uses $\cdot$ to indicate the AND function, and sometimes it uses juxtaposition to indicate AND. But then it also sometimes uses juxtaposition to show a sequence of bits. So, am I dense, or should AND always be indicated by $\cdot$ ? Earendur (talk) 20:16, 21 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
