The 'Costs of reconstruction' section

It looks like only the first two paragraphs of the section concern the article's topic. The rest should probably moved to a separate article as it is only loosely connected to the Destruction of the Kakhovka Dam. Any suggestions on where to move it? Vgbyp (talk) 09:12, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

On the one hand, whether Russia can be made to pay for the damage that resulted from bombing the dam is certainly relevant to the section on Costs of reconstruction. I would assume that for most people that would be foremost in their thoughts when reading about the costs. The treatment seems fairly compact. The one sentence about the total of all other claims against Russia by Ukraine provides a bit of context — how large are these claims in the overall scheme?
On the other hand, there is an EU sanctions section in the International sanctions during the Russian invasion of Ukraine article which deals with this question. If people think it’s totally out of place here we could just reference that section. Swood100 (talk) 16:28, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
OK, I moved these paragraphs over to the other article and left a reference to it. Swood100 (talk) 17:51, 17 July 2023 (UTC)

Sorry, forgot to add this text. Please change the article from not having these images to an article that has these images. The impact of this on the reservoir of the dam is clearly visible and comparable. I miss that in the other imagery or text. Jdh009 (talk) 07:06, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
Thank you for the request. I've added the images to the article. Vgbyp (talk) 08:52, 24 July 2023 (UTC)

Fix this image caption that says 2013 instead of 2023

The part of the dam near the power station turbine hall, that showed damage a few days before the breach,[1] 2013

Partly done: The year in the caption refers to the year that that picture was taken, which is listed as 2013 on the Commons page for that photo, not the year of this event. I've changed the caption slightly to make this more clear, but 2013 remains.  BelowTheSun  (TC) 16:12, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
