Comment[edit]

So, this article seems to be a little bit sparse, but seeing as the Democratic Liberal Party was a precursor to the current Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, I think it is important to get this small slice of history right. And speaking of which, I notice that quite a lot of the history of the Democratic Liberal Party comes from a small section of a single book (that would be note 4). This is fine as the material discussed is only a couple of paragraphs long, but a couple of paragraphs is almost all that exists on this page. So, is there anyone who knows of the quality of this source, or some online version of it, or some online site that can verify the information within? It's fine if the source is Japanese; I might have basic reading skills, but I can tell when two sentences mean similar things! Thank you for sticking with me and with this article for so long! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ye Parish Piper (talkcontribs) 04:32, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Are you talking about the Haruhiro Fukui book? I created the article using this source (which I have a copy of). It is in English and part of a series of books on political parties on all continents. It is published by Greenwood Publishing Group, so I see no reason to doubt its reliability. Number 57 13:34, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
