Note to researchers[edit]

"It is the only bridge to remain from the original railroad" is a little misleading. The Scott Creek Bridge also remains from the Maryland & Pennsylvania and is likewise listed on the NRHP. Seeing as both NRHP nomination forms were written by the same person (and thus would have known this), I can only assume he meant that this was the only remaining trestle bridge from the original railroad; the Scott Creek Bridge is a girder bridge built by the Maryland & Pennsylvania in 1909 to replace an older trestle. 97.68.84.119 (talk) 20:49, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
