Sutra Records/Kama Sutra[edit]

Re the statement in the "Later career" section that Dee Dee Warwick recorded for Sutra Records which was "a small independent label, not "Kama Sutra" as it was previously described": the Wikipedia article entitled Kama Sutra Records states "The record company ceased in mid-1976, but restarted in 1982 as Sutra Records. Under this moniker, [Art] Kass marketed and distributed Fever Records, Blue Dog Records, Baila Records, and signed and recorded the Cover Girls, the Fat Boys, Victor Willis, and many more before the company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 1993." Is there corroboration for the statement that Dee Dee Warwick's affilitation with Sutra Records was with a small independent label distinct from the Sutra Records which was a revival of Kama Sutra operational from 1982 to 1993? Unless there is such corroboration I'd suggest that Warwick's label should simply be identified as Sutra Records and the differentiation of Sutra Records from Kama Sutra omitted.

Abuse allegations[edit]

Much of what's written here is uncited and seems to have a point of view that the allegations are untrue. This section needs to be rewritten from a more neutral point of view. 2603:8001:2A00:7428:4CDD:1E96:3289:1F95 (talk) 17:46, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well that section is a mess because only a fan of Whitney thinks that Warwick had sexually assaulted her, but other people would not think if it is true. TheGreatestLuvofAll ( chat with me ) 19:42, 16 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
