Untitled[edit]

One of the external links points to the original Deathlok pitch written by Dwayne McDuffie. And yet he is not listed anywhere as a co-creator. How come? Am I missing something here? AEriksson 12:35, 17 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

In a battle with Silvermane, Deathlok's computer revealed to Michael Collins that his cyborg body was capable of lifting 85 tons. This is significantly stronger than the Luthor Manning cyborg. Scrapper 00:27, 10 June 2006 (UTC)Scrapper[reply]

Robocop[edit]

Is there a reason Robocop hasn't been discussed here? Deathlok was clearly an influence on the film. Would anyone care to tackle this, or should I? WikiTracker 23:13, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regardless, the similarity is obvious: Detroit, dystopian future, man killed in accident turned into cyborg. And as early as 2003 the Hollywood Reporter describes Deathlok as "'Robocop Meets The Manchurian Candidate,' Deathlok is the story of an ordinary man who is turned into a cyborg assassin, until the last vestiges of his humanity eventually triumph and send him on a mission to eliminate the scientists who experimented on him." Deathlok androids[edit]

Michael Collins[edit]

The first sentence is really unclear "Professor Michael Collins was the second Deathlok to be created in the modern era and also the second to be created for the traditional Marvel Universe". Are the qualifiers meant to seperate him from Luther Manning, created in the seventies and from the future? Manning[edit]

Was Manning actually sent on the kamikaze decoy run or, didn't the villains involved just -talk- about it? And if so, was he sent against the Avengers Tower as planned?
