Good article being ruined by unsubstantiated speculation[edit]

This could be an interesting article but there is an editor who is hell bent on adding unsubstantiated claims about culpability for Holden's murder. Simply stating that one intelligence agency was the most likely suspect, or that suspicions can be ranked in descending order undermines the value of Wikipedia when there is no outside reference for the editor's claims.

If the Mossad were into killing journalists who held Pro-Palestinian views, they would not have time to do anything else. Adding that Mossad is the most likely culpable agency because of their prior experience with "russian style" assasinations begs the question of whether the agency with the most experience with "Russian style" assasinations (the KGB, one would presume) is the agency most responsible. These comments, unexplained and sensational, do not add up to evidence either way.

In short, the article as written does not belong in Wikipedia.Kimwell (talk) 18:52, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agree - it all appears speculative and has many POV comments, as well as OR and attempts to make connections without sourcing. Needs serious work or deletion.Parkwells (talk) 01:02, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
