The result of the move request was: not moved. as there is not a consensus that he is the primary topic; whether the David Clarke Jr. redirect should be retargeted to the David Clarke disambiguation page is out of scope of this discussion but can be decided at RfD. Support. As long as no one can show the sherriff to be the primary topic, natural disambiguation is much more preferable than parenthetical disambiguation. Jenks24 (talk) 07:39, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Only if it's commonly used outside Wikipedia. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:22, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I am satisfied with the sources Gibbsyspin has presented above. Jenks24 (talk) 09:31, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose per 162. Retarget the "Jr." page to the dab. — Amakuru (talk) 23:10, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. I'm not finding a primary topic between the sheriff and the Aussie rules player, so I don't think that moving this to usurp the redirect would be wise. However, it would probably be better to have the redirect point to the disambiguation page rather than the sheriff, since I don't think that there's a WP:PTOPIC for this term. — Red-tailed hawk(nest) 03:18, 6 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
