Fillmore West?[edit]

The tracklisting says "Fillmore auditorium" but is it actually "Fillmore West" ? TraxPlayer (talk) 09:47, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Someone told me that: " The Dead's 12/20/69 show was at the Fillmore Auditorium which was then known as the 'New Old Fillmore' just to confuse matters even more. The Fillmore West was already operating at the same time and was the same venue previously known as the Carousel Ballroom. " TraxPlayer (talk) 10:43, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

According to the liner notes for Fillmore: The Last Days, "Fillmore moved to new location — renamed Fillmore West" on July 5, 1968. So, I'm pretty sure that starting on that date, concerts that took place at "the Fillmore" were actually at the new, Fillmore West venue. — Mudwater^(Talk) 10:55, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
