DOB Cambridge, MA

My partner imforms me that that she was a member of the DOB chapter in Cambridge MA up to 1992 and that is was very much alive and well, back then. I have updated the reference in the main article to reflect this. The Old Cambridge Baptist Church website states that the group was still in existence in 2004.

Fair use rationale for Image:The Ladder May 1966.jpg

Image:The Ladder May 1966.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:00, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Opinion/ambiguity

I'm not sure how to fix this but I thought I would throw this out for opinion. The statement "The years after the end of World War II were some of the most socially repressive in US history." is both an opinion and ambiguous, not a statement of fact. The following line "Postwar anti-communist feelings became quickly associated with personal secrets of people who worked for the US government." should at least have some sort of citation on it and is also vague. I don't feel that I have the requisite knowledge of this subject to properly fix this issue but it needs to be addressed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.114.175.228 (talk) 15:25, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

It's neither an opinion nor ambiguous. It's cited to Barry Adam and explained in the rest of the paragraph. --Moni3 (talk) 15:08, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
