I saw this play in seattle in the late 70-'s early 80's[edit]

I saw this play in seattle in the late 70-'s early 80's, at the greenlake theater are there any who remember this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.111.80.102 (talk) 21:59, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why is there a list of high school productions?[edit]

Am I missing something? Why are high school productions of this play notable? --GentlemanGhost (talk) 23:53, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed all the amateur productions (high school and college) from the production history as per WikiProject Theatre's guidance. Further pruning of the list for notability is probably in order. --GentlemanGhost (talk) 21:30, 20 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Uncle Smelicue's song fragment identified[edit]

I was in a high school production of this work (in approx. 1983 -- not notable, not adding to the list) as Uncle Smelicue. I recall singing "he hugged her, he kissed her, and turned her around" which appears to be (thanks, modern search engines!) a line from "Omie Wise" rather than, as we guessed at the time, half of a lost verse from a Pretty Polly variant detailing Sweet William's necrophilia after the stabbing. Does "Omie Wise" deserve a listing amongst the songs from the show? 65.27.37.157 (talk) 08:25, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
