The Donner Party Rescue was a notable event, but it is much better described at Donner Party than here. This one event does not in and of itself establish Rhoads own notability. Surprisingly, the article doesn't even mention how the Rhoads Party traveled in tandem with the Donner-Reed Party for a period of time, but that itself also doesn't impart notability. —Asterisk*Splat→ 19:15, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
His house is a California Historical Landmark. I don't mind moving the article to focus on the house instead as there is no question about its notability. —howcheng {chat} 19:16, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think that would be a good idea to rename and refocus the article on the property that is considered notable enough to be granted a landmark status. —Asterisk*Splat→ 19:20, 2 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
