The World You've Dreamed of Lately[edit]

Should there be a little note, perhaps in the trivia section about the song he wrote and performed at the Disney Parks for the Year of a Million Dreams? 64.252.101.200 14:38, 28 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Does he write his own songs?[edit]

I think so, although I'm not 100% sure. Some are supposedly based on his life experience, so expect he contributes if he doesn't solely write them. (Westius 00:51, 1 December 2005 (UTC))[reply]

Is his song, "Bad Day," the same song that was played on the fifth season of American Idol during the last audition show and also during the first results show?

That's right. —Eternal Equinox | talk 23:07, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, he writes all his songs. He was on Live With Regis and Kelly this morning and said so. He's also said this in the past.

  • I don't know all the details, but "Bad Day" was released on iTunes last fall (2005) and as far as I can remember, it's always been in their top 10 downloads. I think that's pretty significant, considering it wasn't released as a cd single at that time. Does anyone know anything else about it? --Ecurran 21:26, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that he sounds terrible when LIVE. also, Bad Day was his only GOOD song.

"Bad Day" was actually first released in the US in July of 2005.

Bad Day: good? you are on crack. i think it was written by a sixth grader or something...

folks, it's not a place where people talk about their personal opinion about music. get a grip.davidmj926 18:12, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Middle Name[edit]

The infobox (solo) in the upper right lists "Robert," while the article's opening sentence lists "Keaton." It seems unlikely that both are correct. Alan smithee 08:43, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Not Good Enough: No Biography of his life[edit]

There needs to be a better biography. It only focuses on his music and does not tell about how he was dyslexic and he was bullied as a child with violin. Frankyboy5 (talk) 01:57, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Have to agree...this entry is pretty meaningless - it's very focused on a single song and its success....there's nothing here about Daniel himself...either delete this entry and move its content to the song entry or make this content relevant to its intent.--24.93.115.84 (talk) 00:02, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"the likes of"[edit]

Can we please finally get rid of this meaningless expression on Wikipedia? 'Joining the likes of [bands X, Y, Z]' is used here simply to mean 'Joining bands X, Y, Z', whereas 'the likes of' can only mean 'people similar to those bands'. This is journalistic gibberish.92.66.22.238 (talk) 23:58, 9 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
