Talk: Cunningham C7 Are there any problems with this entry? I am gathering press references and will insert them when I can.

I have read this entry and I still not sure what you are trying to say. You need to really seriously edit it, add sub headings, citations, references etc to make the entry the entry worthy of an encyclopedia. RichardLowther (talk) 21:24, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is this more coherent? I'm obtaining press references shortlyHartfordarmory (talk) 22:07, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's getting there but reads far too much like a press release! You need references and citations and to eliminate the 'press release' feel of the article. You could probably half the number of words. RichardLowther (talk) 22:11, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
For example, the first bit could read something along the lines of "Immediately after World War 2, Briggs Swift Cunningham 2 recognised a niche in the American Car market - Grand Touring Cars and sports cars. In Europe, Ferrari, Maserati, Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, Talbot, Aston Martin, Bentley were filling this market for their respective domestic markets." A good number of links are now in the article and print references will follow in the next few day. Some editing was done to make it less like a press release.Hartfordarmory (talk) 11:55, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs lots of work[edit]

Why are we starting the article talking about WWII? Cut down the history section and focus on the car itself Powder9157 (talk) 23:00, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
