Cue clothing → Cue –Cue Clothing Co. is the umbrella company for both Cue and Veronika Maine. Therefore it is best to list Cue Clothing under its brand name alone; Cue. Alternatively, if this is not possible, the company should be listed as Cue Clothing Co. This change would allow interested parties to determine what this wikipedia page specifically refers to and would avoid confusion. This change would also sit with naming conventions as it reflects the correct name of the company. Cue clothing is not specific or correct.TarynM01 (talk) 03:14, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

Cue is an Australian women’s fashion brand established in 1968. The brand uses traditional design processes, with a focus on fit in combination with fabrics sourced from Europe [1]. Each Cue garment is designed in their Sydney design studio and manufactured in small quantities [2].
History
Cue was established in 1968 and remains owned and operated by the founding Levis family. At the time of its inception, Cue designs were inspired by the scenes in London and Paris [3].
The first Cue store opened in the Strand Arcade, in Sydney in 1968. Today, Cue has stores across Australia and New Zealand, including concessions in Myer and David Jones, as well as the online retailer, The Iconic [3].
Under the company umbrella Cue Clothing Co., Cue opened a sister brand Veronika Maine, in 1998 [4]. In 2013, Cue acquired a major interest in designer brand Dion Lee, providing business support to the eponymous fashion label [5].
In 2019, Cue celebrated 50 years of fashion with an exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum [6]. In the same year, founder Rodney Levis was awarded a Member (AM) of the Order of Australia for his service to the Australian fashion retail and manufacturing industry, as well as his philanthropic work in the community [7].
Cue received the Australian Fashion Trademark in 2022 [8].
In 2023, Cue presented its first standalone runway show at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week [9]. The show featured Australian talent Gemma Ward, Jessica Gomes, Victoria Lee and Montana Cox [10].
Cue Clothing Co. founder and chairman Rod Levis was honoured with the Australian Fashion Laureate for Lifetime Achievement in 2023. The Australian Fashion Laureate award recognises excellence in achievement in Australian fashion acknowledging the skilled professionals who have contributed to Australian fashion’s cultural and economic impact [11].
