i misread what was said. There seems to be confusion over both his surname spelling and nationality based on 2 sources of information, both of which must ultimately come from the club. As to his nationality, it is difficult to say. His place of birth does not necessarily indicate what this is as he may already be naturalised in the UK ( as he counts as a home grown player, he must have lived there for at least 3 years already). It may just be that the club is being lazy and defaults players to being English on the website, but unless we have a source clearly stating that he holds a different nationality it seems we'd be guessing. First result in the Google search suggested indicates that he's lived in England since at least the age of 5 and that he'd like to represent any of England, Spain or Equatorial Guinea.
