Teen choice[edit]

Those teen choice awards seem to be copying their nominations from the Razzies, eh? Kamagurka 15:57, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rating[edit]

"The film also featured a few explicit songs that were edited to avoid an R rating."

Could someone care to elaborate? RobbieNomi 00:36, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Critical Reception[edit]

The critical reception section needs work. It makes it sound like this movie is a masterpiece by conveniently omitting a large number of negative reviewer's opinions. I added a Rottentomatoes and IMDB reference, but there is still way to much positive spin. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.3.20.5 (talk) 05:58, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

most horrible movie ever made —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.228.83.155 (talk) 05:16, 24 February 2008 (UTC) http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Crossroads_(2002_film)&action=edit&section=2[reply]

this whole article seems written by spears fans. It got terrible reviews and was nominated for/won several razzies all of this should be mentioned.

Citations need massive review[edit]

I've started to find evidence that some of the citations do not actually support the text, and worse, the titles given are misleading and incorrect. If someone with the time and determination is willing to, these should all be gone thru with a fine-toothed comb. Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 08:16, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, looked over the edit history, and it seems that most of these bogus edits are from Password16 and associated sock puppets. As a quick fix, I've reverted back to November 6, 2007 for what (I hope) is an article relatively uncorrupted by misleading cites. However, this may also have reverted some legit work already done. Please, however, do not re-add what appears to be "good" text until you have thoroughly cross-checked its citations first. It's not a perfect solution, but at least should maintain the reliability of the text, which is just as important. Thanks, Girolamo Savonarola (talk) 08:26, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Box Office[edit]

"The movie was produced on a budget of US$10 million, and earned more than $50 million in the United States. The movie earned $49 million in foreign sales; a total worldwide sale of $61,141,030. The movie raked in $37,191,304 in the United States, $23,949,726 internationally, totalling $61,141,030."

I don't understand this at all. Can someone explain to me how 50 million plus 49 million equals 61 million? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.224.208.60 (talk) 10:29, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's the math skills of Spears' fans for you. --99.250.177.248 (talk) 00:59, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
