Fixing Citations[edit]

Seems like there's not a lot happening on this page, but all the citations for what is on this article are all at the end, back to back. It's impossible to figure out which citation refers to what idea. I was going to try to resolve these issues myself and take a look at all the articles cited to see what ideas came from where, but four out of five papers are not available at my institution, so that's something of a challenge for me. I was hoping that the editors who cited these articles in the first place, who presumably do have access to these articles, could move the citations to the appropriate sentences.

Application section necessary?[edit]

I started an application section because I've found a lot of research that has applied critical language awareness in various parts of the globe and toward different issues (like African American Vernacular English or apartheid), but I'm not entirely sure if coming up with a list of various applications is the best move for this wiki page?
