Picture[edit]

Should the picture be removed? It seems somewhat unsuitable Number9111 (talk) 09:49, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to remove it, change it back if I'm mistaken! Number9111 (talk) 15:39, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, the picture is fine it doesn't contain copyright and the image has been there since the start of the Artical and this is the second time you've removed the image dispite being told it's fine. Sorryunlucky (talk) 20:44, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The picture appears to be entirely inappropriate to me. The caption 'wot' which is on the picture seems ridiculous. Clearly this isn't a particularly important article but at the same time I think there should be consistency across the site as a whole. I won't remove the picture but I think it should at least be considered for deletion. I'd appreciate if you could provide some legitimate justification for its inclusion. Apologies for removing it twice, although I don't know where I was 'told it's fine'! Number9111 (talk) 14:57, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You removed the picture I undid your edit then I put in the Edit comment "What's wrong with the image there's not copyright and it's fine" or something along the lines you never replied just removed it saying it's inappropriate. Look at the Picture policies please.
Sorryunlucky (talk) 00:23, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I won't remove it without consultation, but I am tempted to remove it again. The picture is clearly unsuitable, regardless of the copyright situation. This picture would not be present in any self respecting encyclopaedia and as far as I know there is a rule relating to this somewhere in the policies page. (You should probably have a look. ;) ) Anyway, you didn't give me any legitimate justification for the inclusion of the picture, if you have any I'd be glad to hear! Number9111 (talk) 10:50, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So you plan to remove it dispite Administrators seeing it? The picture is fine all it has is a common spelling mistake saying "WOT" instead of "WHAT" there's no harm in saying what. Sorryunlucky (talk) 02:45, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I clearly said that I wouldn't remove it without further consultation. Having "WOT" printed on a picture clearly makes it unsuitable for wikipedia's purposes. I would suspect that anyone who wasn't involved in the creation of the article would probably have a better view of the situation. I must stress that I don't consider this a matter of life or death and if the text could be removed then the picture would be fine. It would probably be best to ask someone else to make a judgement on the situation, but as I'm new here I don't know what the procedure is. The current situation isn't really good enough to be honest and I certainly don't see the difficulty in reasonably discussing what should be done about it! :) Number9111 (talk) 08:32, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
