"When the US show was shown in Britain and Australia it was retitled Fitz." - was it? ISTR a title sequence modelled on the UK original Cracker with the same name - perhaps my memory is cheating. DavidFarmbrough 11:17, 9 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I didn't write this article, so two people remember the show being called 'Fitz' - I assumed it was to avoid the two shows clashing in your mind. A bit like how the US version of 'The Office' is called 'The Office: An American Workplace' over here.

It was definitely called "Fitz" in the UK - I watched a number of the episodes. The title sequence was indeed modelled on the UK "Cracker" title sequence, but the name was certainly changed. It was shown on ITV, and they had to rename it to avoid confusion with the original series. Unlikelyheroine (talk) 22:43, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help! I have messed up the references - Sorry![edit]

I am new-ish and haven’t studied enough; I’ve been learning as I go instead (working my love for Wikipedia into too many other obligations). I just joined the Television project, but it will be days before I can learn the drill on references. (The flow and info are better, but that’s a poor excuse. I won’t make this mistake again.) Thanks for any help!! Left Central (talk) 18:25, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
