Five points to attend to[edit]

Paging Lamanix:

  • A Wikipedia article may not cite a Wikipedia article or IMDB. I've removed the former, temporarily retained the latter.
  • "a difficulty persists in framing it in one of the currents of the national novel": An awkwardly mixed metaphor, as you don't frame something in a current.
  • "a tribute poem to Cardoso": What's its title and where's it published?
  • "This can also be seen in texts [including] the unpublished Baltazar": How can something be seen in a book if this isn't published?
  • I've removed the claim that this is a masterpiece. Who has said it's a masterpiece, and where? When you can provide evidence, feel free to reinstate this.

Pinging Lamanix: I have five more:

  • "The story is told through letters": Would it help to say by whom and to whom?
  • "opens the book in a cyclic key": I don't understand.
  • "conquered by the vanguards": Who are these vanguards?
  • "a degrading social order": Does "degrading" mean "decaying", "disintegrating", "dissolving", "destructive", something else?
  • What's the meaning of "coord."?

@Hoary: Thank you for your comments. I have just corrected the items you mentioned. Lamanix (talk) 20:04, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well done, Lamanix! I'm in a rush now, but some time in the next 24 hours I'll take a closer look. -- Hoary (talk) 09:49, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
