Songwriter?[edit]

The writer listed as "Carson J Robinson(Robison)" which seems wrong song^[1] from what Margo Smith did("Cowboy Yodel Song" - Composer: Lew Porter^[2]) Ergergosdfghg (talk) 20:01, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Songwriter appears to be mis-attributed on Wanda Jackson's record In Person Live At "Mr. Lucky's" In Phoenix, Arizona as (Robinson).

Yodel, Yodel, Yodel - Carolina Cotton - 1952 is the same song, with composers listed as Hoefle - Porter - Cotton^[3] Ergergosdfghg (talk)

Robison, Carson J. Collection[edit]

Recordings & documents (donated by his wife Catherine in 1980's) in the "Pittsburg State University Digital Commons". Among includes: a letter from Bob Olson listing every recording he was on up till 1939 (https://digitalcommons.pittstate.edu/cjrc/194), a summery of list of every song he wrote or recorded (https://digitalcommons.pittstate.edu/fa/12), the sheet music for "A Cowboy's Yodelin' Song" (https://digitalcommons.pittstate.edu/cjrms/21).

This is the only Carson wrote with that title (or sim.), with lyrics "When the winter wind begins..." which not in anyway like Wanda's song. Ergergosdfghg (talk) 18:02, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
