Point of View[edit]

Personally, the language in this article seems to be highly POV, as in:

The Corsicans have been struggling for a national identity since the Treaty of Versailles (1768) when they were annexed to France and subsequently repressed culturally, economically, and socially.

Also, this statement seems to show bias:

This is a lofty goal for a people known for their violent uprisings and suppressions, but Corsica Nazione is committed to it. However, France has imposed unwanted trade unions upon Corsica, making it difficult for Corsica Nazione to further their goal to negotiate with France and secure peace.

Others may disagree with me, but the article seems to be written very strongly from the viewpoint of a Corsican nationalist, and perhaps a member of Corsica Nazione, and seems to be pushing the party, in addition to declaring the French government to be oppressive without supplying evidence. While the Corsican nationalist viewpoint naturally must be respected, this article should just be used to attack France.

I updated the article and removed the NPOV tag, please use {{POV-section}} or {{POV-statement}} for sentences, then detail issues here. - RoyBoy 06:08, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
