Image in Teen Idol section

Hi, I recently put back the Dream a Little Dream image as opposed to the image for his promotional video. I believe the DALD image is more relevent as it is representative of the section, which talks about his popularity as well as his success with Feldman. Also, being one of his three main films, its fairly important. The Me, Myself and I video had a tiny audience and the picture is rather fuzzzy. That and the fact that there are already 2 other screenshots would make it difficult to keep. It is also not that appropriate in that only a few sentnaces are talked about that particular video, details of his drug problem are mainly in the section after. This particular paragraph mainly talks about him at the height of his success, in particular with Feldman. The DALD picture is a promotional one so that makes it easier. The use of too many images was brought up during a peer review. Now all three images there have a rationale attached to them so they can be considered fair use. Feel free to discuss. Victoria Beckham

I was reading Victoria Beckham's autobiography (oh, leave me alone, it's a good book), and in it she mentions a relationship with him, where he had random bursts of anger and gigantic mood swings. This sounds quite significant, but I have no idea where I would put it. Any ideas? Anton1234 01:21, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Either under a Personal category or a Relationship category, I'd suggest. --Mjrmtg 02:05, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
So you're saying create category? Anton1234 17:42, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Don't create a category; it belongs under Personal life, which is where it is briefly mentioned. Jim Michael (talk) 19:06, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

How many women has Corey Haim been engaged to?

1. Nicole Eggert 2. Crick 3. Tarrin 4. That woman from the Oddgrass show

Eggert is mentioned; if reliable sources can be found to confirm engagements to any of the others, then they can be added. Jim Michael (talk) 01:42, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Lost Boys 2

Detailed discussion of the Lost Boys 2 project would be best placed on the Lost Boys 2 page -- not on Corey Haim's page. Also, Haim's official website does not currently reference the project, so it can't be used as a valid citation for Lost Boys 2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Metrobrit (talkcontribs) 18:41, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

There is no credible source to verify that Haim will be appearing in Lost Boys 2. At this point, it is solely a rumor and is not valid news until a credible source can be sited. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.249.67.85 (talk) 19:20, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
He is shown filming Lost Boys 2 in the 2 Corey's show in A&E. So, I assume since he was seen filming on national TV that it's pretty apparent he did appear in the film.
He was dropped from the film for being unable to remember his lines and being an overall liability. This can be seen both on the Lost Boys 2: The Tribe page and on the TV Series The Two Coreys. The article should be changed to correct that. I also added indentations to your text, I thought that was a common wiki guideline.--SynthesizedShredder (talk) 03:46, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

Haim's emotional reaction to the news that he wasn't initially in Lost Boys 2, and the subsequent botched filming of his cameo as shown in The Two Coreys seemed a mark of his decline in the last years of his life, leading as it did to Feldman's intervention and a bust-up of their relationship, so I included a brief note about it. He has often remarked in the press how much he loved the original Lost Boys, and was shown bouncing ideas around for the sequel, so I thought this was relevant and worthwhile. POV

Not sure how to do this, but someone please remove the opening BIO section that says he starred "co-starred in a number of shitty films." Not called for an makes the article look terrible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.68.102.230 (talk) 13:41, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Hospital location should be Providence St. Joseph's Medical Center, not St. Joseph's Hospital. I'm not able to edit the page in its current semi-protected state (apparently I'm not Wiki-worthy yet!), otherwise would have done it myself. Kirkmouse (talk) 14:23, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Done I removed the piping in the wikilink as it already linked Providence St Joseph's Med. Ctr. -- Flyguy649 talk 14:38, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

TMZ is reporting that law enforcement sources say pill bottles retrieved in the apartment of Haim's mother are hydrocodone (Vicodin), diazepam (Valium), haloperidol (an antipsychotic med) and Soma (a muscle relaxer). Not sure if TMZ is a relevant source to add to the article, so I'm leaving this up for discussion since I can't find any other sources. [1] AcePuppy (talk) 19:10, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Shortly there will be reliable sources that will state what we can say. The major news outlets will start confirming details surrounding the autopsy. There's no rush to put low quality sources in the article. I'd prefer not to use TMZ as a source because it's a gossip site with the author of that particlar piece being "TMZ Staff" and not a particular person. Dawnseeker2000 19:38, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
I figured so, but just wanted to share the news. AcePuppy (talk) 19:41, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for posting that. I've been busy locating new sources so that was helpful. Dawnseeker2000 19:45, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

NYDailynews has an article on it, but that can also be considered gossip at this point depending on some of the stuff they have written in the past. [2] AcePuppy (talk) 21:09, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
I actually used one of their articles as a source. The part in the lead that I added. Dawnseeker2000 21:17, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

I think we should include the rest of the Feldman quote, so it doesn't sound so one-sided and negative. The rest is as follows: "Most recently he's been, honestly, in the best frame of mind that he's ever been in, in the past year..."

I thought about it, but decided to be conservative about putting so much into the article. Go ahead & add the content if you like. Dawnseeker2000 20:15, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
Would if I could, but I'm locked out. Hopefully it will find its way in there. Seems only fair. N432138 —Preceding undated comment added 20:45, 11 March 2010 (UTC).

Reactions

Figured I would post a new section and see if there are any reactions from celebrities such as Corey Feldman or maybe Feldman's separated wife Susie Sprague. AcePuppy (talk) 15:50, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Reactions? This is not a chat room. If there are notable "reactions", place them in the article with appropriate sources. 65.41.234.70 (talk) 17:51, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
Discussions are noted as 'chat' and or in Wiki terms 'talk'. Reactions coming from smoeone such as Feldman would add to the article. No one can add sources in an article without finding reactions of those close to him. This helps by allowing people to find that information. If you have nothing to add, then please leave. ANYHOW, the only reaction is from radaronline of his mom Judy stating he was living with her because she was battling cancer and wanted to take care of her. AcePuppy (talk) 18:16, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
If you can't express a coherent thought in English, then please leave. I think what you are trying to say is that legitimate discussions are not chat (although clearly that is not easy to discern from what you wrote). If that is the case, you missed the point (not at all surprising). If there are legitimate sources for reactions from celebrities, and if no one objects to their being added to the article, then why do these reactions need to be "discussed" here? The usual procedure is to wait for something to be added to the article, then if someone has a problem with it, it needs to be discussed here. I fail to see any purpose in adding the information here, unless it is to circumvent Wikipedia's disdain for useless trivia by placing it here instead of in the article, which is exactly what has happened below. Congratulations, this section is now officially "chat". 71.77.21.198 (talk) 01:37, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
I love how people resort to IP addresses and want to argue over the smallest of things. I never said the reactions would be added to the article, I mearly stated I would like to know what reactions from other celebrities are occuring. Please refer to MJ for "chat" that has many topics that would never even make the article. Refer to the media in taking part of assuming his death was an overdose, then an accidental overdose, then some thinking hmm maybe the cororner should make this decision. AcePuppy (talk) 04:17, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
I love how people who can't express themselves coherently in English (or spell) feel entitled to practice their writing skills on Wikipedia. If you "would like to know what reactions from other celebrities are occuring", read the tabloids, don't solicit other people to post them here. 71.77.21.198 (talk) 04:38, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Not sure who you are talking to, since I am conversating my thoughts on a talk page that others are also conversing about. As far as rules being broken I am not breaking any I can revert pages on others if I spoke, should you wish to bring an admin on to this conversation, by all means PLEASE DO! As the mature one I'm ending this discussion and going about the article which should be done other then the same statement by yourself being brought up again and again, as it seems your the only one out there with a problem with this topic. If you wish to bring an admin in then DO SO. If not have your last say (which it seems your the type of person who must do to feed your ego) and then let all be left alone and grow up. I'd caution against adding a list of random "wow, shocking" or "so young, so sad" type reactions which are standard reactions when someone dies. Perhaps one or two well-referenced paraphrased comments may be ok. This is in the spirit of WP:MEMORIAL, even though the article already exists. -- Flyguy649 talk 18:34, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
I did find a piece by Jim Slotek of The Toronto Sun, who has aggregated celebrity responses from their official Twitter accounts. Link. Here is a sample:
  • Actor Ashton Kutcher: "Rip Corey Haim 'Childhood hero.'"
  • Former Screen Actors Guild President Melissa Gilbert: "Corey Corey Corey. You will be missed. May those who love you find peace knowing that there is no more torture for you...no more pain. My heart aches for your mother. Fly well, dear talented boy."
  • Filmmaker-actor Kevin Smith: "Lost Boy goes home: Corey Haim, dead at 38. G'bye, LUCAS. You gave hope to the weird & unlikely."
I would think Smith's comment would be a good summary of the situation, possibly along with Gilbert's, because of her SAG connection. Probably one quote and mention of the others who had also paid condolences would be sufficient. --SSBohio 18:50, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
Gilbert's certainly due to SAG connection. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.14.156.164 (talk) 23:40, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Ashton Kutcher not so much, Kevin Smith's quote is perfect. Melissa Gilbert should definitely be tied into for SAG, a positive example of a child star turned adult. Overall great balance with K. Smith & M. GIlbert. (ac3 07:09, 16 March 2010 (UTC)) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Acwrecker (talkcontribs)

Have added the two Twitter quotes discussed here, along with an (astute) quote from Nicole Eggert on the public response to give weight to the inclusions rather than rendering them as 'chat'. It seems worthwhile to acknowledge that there was a substantial public response to Haim's death, and to give examples of this.

--Tarrant on Wiki (talk) 18:39, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

Someone took these out, but I did think they added a welcome context to the page while they were up, so have reinstated. I agree with previous comments that Gilbert and Smith's quotes are noteworthy.

Sexual abuse?

In the series The Two Coreys it was mentioned by both Corey Haim and Corey Feldman that they were sexually abused by industry representatives, and that this played some part in their drug use. Should this be included in the main article? Artemisboy (talk) 18:33, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Only if you can find well-sourced, verifiable references to back any such statement up. I'd tend not to include it at all, or to keep it to only a sentence or two. And re: Corey Feldman, WP:BLP applies.-- Flyguy649 talk 18:36, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

No worries. It's a term that's probably interchangeable with data entry. One clue to why it's an unfamiliar term is the date of that Toronto Star article - 1985 - twenty-five years ago. Data processor may have been a term that was used at the time, but has since morphed into data entry. Have a good day. Dawnseeker2000 16:36, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Current picture

Is there any way a better picture is available anywhere else? None of the news reports are using the current picture on the article. --Mjrmtg (talk) 13:40, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

I checked Flickr for another freely licensed photo (i.e. one of Haim is in hey-dey) but the only freely licensed ones are simply different angles from the same day that the one we are using was taken. You could try finding one on Flickr and asking the person to relicense it as cc to allow commercial/derivative reuse. –xenotalk 13:48, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

"Comeback" section

Comeback para 5: Feldman stated his refusal to have further contacts with Haim until he recovered from his addiction. Having read the ref, I am unsure Feldman refused all contacts with Haim. My reading of the citation says Feldman refused to work with Haim until Haim "get's [sic] the help he truly needs".[4] 71.234.215.133 (talk) 15:39, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Personal life

I have edited his personal life after last nights Larry King interview with Nicole Eggert. Eggert states Corey proposed to her but she never really accepted it as being engaged to him as they were life long friends. AcePuppy (talk) 16:41, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Trying to understand why personal life was changed to being engaged to Nicole Eggert when she specifically said on camera (CNN's Larry King Life) she never was? AcePuppy (talk) 03:22, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
Online sources state that they were engaged. No-one has submitted a source to this article or talk page that states her claim of never having been engaged to him. If a video or transcript of the interview in question could be submitted, the article could be changed to reflect her denial. Jim Michael (talk) 13:31, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
Jim please refer to the following video on tvguide's website that is from CNN.com [5]AcePuppy (talk) 14:38, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
In that 11 March 2010 interview, she said that they dated for a few years, that he proposed to her, she accepted his ring, but she doesn't consider herself to have been engaged to him. Any ideas of how to phrase that in the article? It is strange, as receiving a ring on proposal means that the couple are engaged. Jim Michael (talk) 16:02, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
That's a good question, I believe she only accepted the ring because she knew he was using at the time and did not want to ruin the friendship they had for so long. I'm not sure how to word it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AcePuppy (talkcontribs) 21:34, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Whether this is relevant to the article I'm not sure, but Corey states in a video Victoria Beckham cheated on him when they were dating. Stating "I'm just happy to hear she didn't cheat on me with David," says Corey. "I'm not happy to hear she cheated on me with another guy." [6] AcePuppy (talk) 19:04, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Half-brother

Many sources state the existence of a half-brother, Daniel Lee, [8] by his father's second marriage. Does anyone have a reliable source for it? Jim Michael (talk) 17:46, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

He does have a half-brother as this has been mentioned by many articles, however he was never really close with his dad, so there is probably no information in regards to him and his brother, unlike him and his sister being close. AcePuppy (talk) 03:20, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
The article should state the existence of the younger half-brother if a reliable source can be found. Is their father still married to his second wife? Jim Michael (talk) 13:31, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
On The Arsenio Hall Show in 1989 in which Corey talks about having been clean from drugs for 2 weeks he is 17 on this show, Corey sends out a hello to his sister in Canada, a best friend, his Dad and his new half brother Daniel Lee as his parents divorced in the last year. Last residence

Sources are unclear and contradictory regarding whether the apartment he shared with his mother at the end of his life was his, hers or both theirs. We know it is rented, and I take it that mother still lives there. Was it his and mother moved in with him, hers and he moved in with her, or did they take up the tenancy together? Jim Michael (talk) 18:17, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

New additions

I'm a bit concerned about the wording in some of the newly added content. There were, and still are, some fairly flowery descriptive content that is not supported by sources. We can't simply add a description of his facial expressions, or an impression of his persona, unless it is present in sources. That qualifies as POV and isn't acceptable. I removed some of it, but more clean up is certainly needed. Wildhartlivie (talk) 21:28, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for paying close attention to the article.Dawnseeker2000 22:14, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
No problem. Sometimes a recent death brings out all sorts of content, and not all of it is appropriate. This article has grown exponentially and it is reasonable to assume that not everything meets criteria. Wildhartlivie (talk) 22:21, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
This may need to be removed as well as the source only references back to a wiki article. This shown under the 1980's section at the end. In a further attempt to regain his wholesome image, Haim set up a pre-recorded drug advice line for teens: 1-800 C-O-R-E-Y. He admitted on The Arsenio Hall Show that he was high while giving the advice.[29]" AcePuppy (talk) 20:03, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I added the 1-800 C-O-R-E-Y reference as believed it insightful that Haim was admitting this on national TV at 17. I have the full interview on YouTube, but wasn't sure how to link it, so used the Arsenio citation as provided for his 'half-brother Daniel Lee' from the same interview (which seemed to pass muster). Might someone please help me link the clip properly? Thanks and best. Tarrant on Wiki (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 01:14, 24 March 2010 (UTC).

Great caution must be taken when using YouTube. In general, most things posted there, such as the Arsenio Hall clip, are copyrighted and we cannot use YouTube to source. There is a template to use for TV episodes {{cite episode}} but the particulars need to be added in for that specific episode. Also, in passing, I've been cleaning up reference citations. Please be aware that rather than using the year for the date, you shuld use the parameter date=, and the full month, day and year should be used. Also be aware that when using publisher=, that would refer to webpages with no markup for italics around the page name, while the parameter work= should be used for print media such as magazines and newspapers, even if you are linking to an online version of that work. Wildhartlivie (talk) 02:11, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

I will use full date work= from now on - was not intentional or lazy, just unaware! Will add the specifics of the Arsenio episode according to your advice. Thanks very much for the clean-up, am also aiming to clean-up the references over the next couple of days as many are duplicated in the list.

On another note, I've been loath to add any info about the abuse Haim allegedly suffered at 14 as stated by him on The Two Coreys, as all the references aside from his own words are so tenuous. It seems an important detail (whether or not it can be proven to be true), but most of the press coverage revolves around people speculating that the culprit was Michael Jackson (or Joel Schumacher). After Haim's death, Nicole Eggert said in an interview that she knew who it was and would confront them. However someone will no doubt will add this soon, and I wondered whether starting it in a measured way with careful wording was the way to go. I know there has been a little discussion on this issue earlier on this page. Do you have any views?

--Tarrant on Wiki (talk) 12:35, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

I did combine some of the sources, at least two or three. You don't necessarily have to use an elaborate ref name, just one that identifies the source, like ref name=engaged or ref name=destitute. I assumed that you didn't know about the date and work= thing, so I thought I'd tell you here. No problem. As for the allegations of abuse, I'm not certain that it needs to be mentioned at all, since there is little to support it outside of Haim's own words. If it does go in, it plainly needs to be presented as abuse allegations and not as a fact. Having said that, under no circumstances should alleged perpetrators be mentioned. There is nothing to support that and in at least the case of Schumacher, WP:BLP would apply - without definitive proof, it would expose the encyclopedia to libel charges, I would think. Wildhartlivie (talk) 21:51, 24 March 2010 (UTC)

Absolutely agreed, I would never have stated names! I'm more thinking of a brief sentence and quote to touch on it so that someone looking for the info won't think it has been omitted -- as the alleged abuse seems significant in its impact on Haim by all accounts. I'll think more about how to mention it well. 93.186.28.193 (talk) 01:58, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Tarrant on Wiki

More citation comments

I came across several references to an article on Filmbug. Unfortunately, it can't be used because the article on that site is a direct mirror of the article here. Using it would effectively mean we are citing this article as a source for this article. Also, there is no need to use the italics markup at all in the citations. The work= automatically italicizes that work and the publisher= should not be italicized. Also, so you'll know, when you use the "ref name=" after the first time, you need only add <"ref name=name/> and you can omit the rest of the reference itself. It will automatically group all the same named references. And don't forget to space directly after each reference, don't run the next sentence into the ref. Wildhartlivie (talk) 00:02, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Hi there, yes, when I came across Filmbug I did notice that the article bore resemblances, particularly at the beginning. Sadly it would seem that the person who started the Wiki article lifted directly from Filmbug. I had changed some of the existing Wiki wording in response, and can do more work on this. There are some good details on Filmbug, and it's obviously well-researched and/or close to the subject (haven't seen dates of Haim's rehabs anywhere else, for instance)

I understand the issue perfectly. Might you allow me the opportunity to change the Wiki wording so that there is no reflection? The Wiki article has developed so substantially now (with some well-chosen details from Filmbug, whose citations are quite embedded).

Thanks for the tips, I'll continue to clean up.93.186.31.197 (talk) 01:27, 25 March 2010 (UTC)Tarrant on Wiki

Actually, you've got it backwards. Filmbug lifted their article from here, that's what is meant by the GNU FDL at the bottom, it says that it uses material from the completely unsourced Wikipedia article "Corey Haim" as of the December 23, 2005 version of the article. They can do this so long as they credit Wikipedia for their article, which they have. It cannot be used as a source in references here, that is circular referencing. Rewording won't help, valid sources that support what was supported by that copy of this article need to be found. Filmbug can't be used. Whoever wrote this article up to that point is the one who did the research and added the details. Sorry. Wildhartlivie (talk) 01:49, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Understood (sigh). Interesting though - why rip off a Wikipedia article in 2005 when they clearly have access to good sources? There was a lot of bona fide stuff on there not in this article. Will do the legwork. 93.186.28.196 (talk) 02:28, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Because it's easier. Although I didn't notice anything of note in the article than what is here. Sorry. Wildhartlivie (talk) 04:14, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Absolutely fine, will find other sources for the text asap. But just to explain, I only started working on this page ten days ago and sourced some info from Filmbug (bankruptcy details etc) - it wasn't on here before. So perhaps they lifted the framework/text of the Wikipedia page in 2005, but it certainly wasn't a 'mirror' when I first started working on it. Anyway, onward and upward. Thanks once again for your communication and help. --Tarrant on Wiki (talk) 10:27, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

Cindy Guyer

Cindy Guyer is speaking forward regarding there relationship and the actor's death and how she and others saw it coming [9]. One quote she states is: "“We almost knew it was going to happen — he was such a mess,” Guyer told Life & Style magazine. “He had a devil inside him, and the devil was the drug.”" I think this quote and others in the small article maybe useful if someone wants to add them. It is under the second headline in article. AcePuppy (talk) 16:30, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

About sources

There were several sources added today that do not meet the requirements for reliable sources. teenidols4you.com is not considered a reliable source. Neither are fast-rewind.com, or x-entertainment (although it was added to replace a reliable source of The Guardian) and hollyscoop.com is not the Toronto Sun. The Notable Names Database should never be used as a source. Wildhartlivie (talk) 23:07, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

Ok, sorry about that -- am researching reputable sources, and think replacing Toronto Sun/Guardian was just a mistake. --Tarrant on Wiki (talk) 05:10, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Good work

Just wanted to say the article has developed nicely and all the editors putting in the effort need to be thanked. The article is getting a few thousand hits a day, but on March 10th it received over 800,000 hits. Dawnseeker2000 17:43, 7 April 2010 (UTC)

I agree. Just be sure and watch that there are no spaces between the conclusion of a referenced sentence or phrase and the following reference. It should always be word.</ref>. I also agree that the tributes should be included, they aren't "tributes for the media". Wildhartlivie (talk) 01:42, 8 April 2010 (UTC)

Yes, the spacing thing is good to watch for. Having the refs tight with the punctuation is a cleaner presentation. It's a practice that's outlined at WP:REFPUNC. 02:05, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Hi all, wonderful work you have all done here it looks wonderful. Some of the References are coming up no longer available not sure what to do but wanted to let you know anyhow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.221.212.77 (talk) 07:54, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

It was the first reference in the lead that was dead per Checklinks. I tried to retrieve it from the wayback machine but the Washington Post blocks the robots.txt file, so it's impossible. Autopsy Report

TMZ is reporting the following on his official cause of death by the coroner [10]. Although TMZ is not a reliable source and can't be placed in the article, it should be noted that the autopsy report will be released in full soon, so someone can add to this article. AcePuppy (talk) 20:22, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Another source from People [11]. AcePuppy (talk) 20:59, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
The LA Times and KTLA are both quoting the coroner's report confirming it was pneumonia and not drugs. I added two sentences to that effect with sourcing. FWIW, I've seen TMZ used as a source in many articles here at Wikipedia, and it's also used quite a bit by the mainstream press as a source. 173.49.135.190 (talk) 01:34, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Photographs

I'd been looking for some time for some free images of Haim to accompany this article. Someone has added two from 2008 from Flickr, one of which duplicates the main photo as it was taken at the same event. I had seen these before but desisted from adding them as they are of poor quality and don't add anything. I think having three photos from the same period as the only photos in the article unbalance it somewhat, and would advocate the removal of at least one - the one showing Haim in the grey coat. I don't think either are sensitive additions. Tarrant on Wiki (talk) 17:26, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

Death date

It has been reported that Corey Haim died last Wednesday 9th February 2011 so why is there an autopsy from 10th March 2010?!

Find a Grave link

On 10 March 2011, I added a link to Corey Haim's entry on www.findagrave.com. On 11 March 2011, user Moxy undid the revision, citing "rv of no value." A link to a Find A Grave entry can be found in the article of nearly every deceased actor of Haim's stature. User Moxy had previously (26 February 2011) removed the Find a Grave link, citing Wikipedia:External links/Perennial websites, however nothing there indicates that a Find a Grave entry is forbidden. Noting the overwhelming presence of Find a Grave links among the articles on deceased actors, I believe it should remain in this article. So I'll replace the link and ask Moxy to provide reason why Haim's article is different in that respect from the articles of thousands of other deceased actors.Spogelseforfatter (talk) 02:49, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

Sorry i had to remove the link again as per WP:ELNEVER "Material that violates the copyrights of others per contributors' rights and obligations should not be linked." - So let me explain - this photo is st0len - the photo is by Deidhra Fahey a very famous head shot photographer. Her photos are used on his Official pages one on my space and the other on his main web site here - I can assure you Caroline Lagace who is attributed to the photo at Find a grave is not Deidhra Fahey. That said this can be fixed by reported to info@findagrave.com with a link to the relevant page or image so it can be removed. On a side note you may find the ongoing talks about F@G interesting and may have some input to contribute. See : Wikipedia talk:External links/Perennial websites#Find-A-Grave: Update for the record .

Not sure if TMZ is a relevant source to add to the article, so I'm leaving this up for discussion since I can't find any other sources. [12] AcePuppy (talk) 19:10, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

As the mature one I'm ending this discussion and going about the article which should be done other then the same statement by yourself being brought up again and again, as it seems your the only one out there with a problem with this topic.

Jim please refer to the following video on tvguide's website that is from CNN.com [16]AcePuppy (talk) 14:38, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

You missed a movie

In 1993 Corey Haim was in a movie called Just One of The Girls.... is one of my avorites. Please add this information. Thank You. Jms19812812 (talk) 08:23, 12 March 2010 (UTC)jms19812812

Half-brother

Many sources state the existence of a half-brother, Daniel Lee, [19] by his father's second marriage.

This interview is available on youtube. Sorry I have never added to Wikipedia before but I think this is a important point.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.182.170.79 (talk) 13:32, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
He is referring to the following interview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u16IfI6kbwY AcePuppy (talk) 00:18, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Good source. I re-added it to the article. All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 01:37, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Cindy Guyer

Cindy Guyer is speaking forward regarding there relationship and the actor's death and how she and others saw it coming [20].

Have added this. Thank you.

No problem. There's a lot to learn. Forge ahead. Wildhartlivie (talk) 05:49, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

I just replaced it with another source from USA Today. Even the same author wrote it. Thank you. —Mike Allen 09:10, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

Autopsy Report

TMZ is reporting the following on his official cause of death by the coroner [21]. Although TMZ is not a reliable source and can't be placed in the article, it should be noted that the autopsy report will be released in full soon, so someone can add to this article. AcePuppy (talk) 20:22, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

Another source from People [22].

To my mind, this is nicely stated the way it has been added. --Tarrant on Wiki (talk) 14:22, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Roller Boys

The description of the film is inaccurate. It is stated the film was "popular". That is opposite of the truth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.194.122.45 (talk) 23:24, 13 August 2010 (UTC)

Bizarre......
