"Trøffel-masse"?[edit]

It seems that the information on this page isn't quite accurate to my limited information.

I've had Trader Joe's cookie butter and it has *nothing* at all to do with "trøffel-masse" that's named in the article. Cookie butter tastes of cinnamon, where trøffelmasse is more chocolate like. Trøffelmasse is said to be made from all the left over cake pieces in the bakery and is certainly not made from crushed cookies mixed with coconut fat and other things.

Trøffelmasse creates rom-kugler og studenterbrød which are firm, like a type of dense cake, and not a spread that can be put on bread at all.

That said, I have no idea how cookie-butter is apart from the Trader Joe's version that I bought in the US when visiting, nor do I know how it is in Belgium.

About the subject. I don't think the differences you mention are big enough to treat each substance differently with two separate wiki-articles. Chocolate and cinnamon are both flavours added to the basic cookie-fat-sugar substance and not a main ingredient. Also, the article already elaborates on how "trøffel-masse" and cookie butter differs, but the differences are so slight that they are almost identical. As a Dane, I can say that trøffelmasse and cookie butter are very different and shouldn't be on the same page. Trøffelmasse is used as an ingredient in cakes by bakers, it's not used as a spread at all, unlike cookie butter. The only thing they have in common is that they are some kind of cake/cookies (not even the same type, trøffelmasse being made with soft cakes, cookie butter being made with hard cookies), mixed with sugar.
