Name?[edit]

How did the village acquire its name? was it named for anywhere else called "Constantine"?

I have altered the caption of the photo of town to reflect that US 131 has been realigned to a bypass. In January 2018, old US 131 became "Business Route 131"... but as business routes of US highways are often deleted from the Michigan state highway system, and there is some possibility that an Interstate Highway might supplant US 131 at some time, my change will stick no matter what happens with US 131 and its business route.Pbrower2a (talk) 20:56, 20 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
