Secret room[edit]

I contacted them myself wondering, here what I found out:
There is "Secret level" it is accessed by hitting 3 spots hidden through out the game, without dying.
The first spot is located in trouble 3. From the top right entrance, run left, jump the gap, kill the guard, walk down the stairs, kill the other guard, then jump behind the stairs, to the left of the screen, walk all the way to the edge, and jump at the edge of the screen, it will make a noise. That's point 1, after that I have no idea sorry...

OK. I have more information about the secret room: it does exist!! I found it! I was confused about you saying there was 3 spots, because according to http://www.deltatao.com/darkcastle/darkcastlefaq.html it says, "I hear that you have to go somewhere you don't normally go, but that's about all I know. It involves pulling four secret hidden chains without dying." All I needed to find the room was your instructions on finding the first spot, although the only thing that matters from them is jumping at the edge of the screen in the right place, the order of killing the guards and such doesn't matter. So there are 4 secret spots you must hit, but they don't involve chains. The noise that is made when finding a spot is the sound of getting a key or unlocking a door. I also learned that it doesn't really matter the order in which you hit the secret spots except for the last one as long as you hit them all without dying. That is all I will write for now in case you want to try and find it on your own, really the only difficult part is doing it without dying.

Ok let me give you the general instructions and see if you can find it. I just did it on the beginner level. Again, it doesn't matter the order except for the last. Once I realized there were 4 spots, I realized there must be one in each section. You know where the place in Trouble 3 is. The next one is in Shield 3. Get to the very bottom right corner of the room and jump into the wall and you will hear a sound. If it's not there, it's the level above, but it is in the bottom right. The next spot is in Fireball 1. This one is the easiest to get. Go to the bottom right of the screen, then climb up the rope to the ledge right above, and then go over to the wall and jump into it to hear the sound. The final spot is in Black Night 1. Again, this spot is in the very bottom right. I can't remember the exact spot, but try jumping into the wall on the very bottom right. If it is not there, then it is the level right above and jump in to the wall there. If you have hit the previous three spots without dying, then when you jump in to the wall on the last spot, you will actually go into the wall into the secret room. If you have difficulty getting them all without dying, here's what I did: Go through the game and get the shield and fireball and don't worry if you die. Then once you have them both, then get the secret spots. The only difference in this method is that it makes the fireball secret spot easier, you just go over and hit the spot and then go back out the way you came in without going through all the rooms because you will already have the fireball. Since the others are in room 3, you have to go through them anyway to hit the spots. Well that should be enough for you to find it! Let me know when you find it. If you could, take a screen shot right after you get in so we can put it on the page, because my computer was having problems displaying the game properly but it worked well enough for me to find the secret room. Take the picture before you pull the handle in the room :) Good luck!

Great job! Did you try climbing the rope and walking into the left wall on the top? I don't think I ever tried that, and I think that you can't walk to the right of the handle either. Now does pulling the handle just take you back to the main room or does it also take a life? Izdale 03:11, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Yeah I did, and i got a video of that too, though you can't do anything, and if you walk over the three things in the middle of the room, you just fall through them. Jon God 20:05, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
