Help

Hi I am trying to talk to someone that can help me have a COLD CASE heard. I have a cousin that has been in prison for 42 years this year. He goes up before the prole board again in about 2 years. His statement to was,"I want to be taken before a judge and proven guilty or let me out." 42 years ago there was not d.n.a. testing. I am asking for help and I do not know were to go to find it. I know Wikipedia isn't a forum, but I did want to address this comment (even though it's 2 years old), just in case someone has a similar issue. On the series, what often happens is someone with an interest in the case contacts the nearest "Cold Case Squad" - try the local precinct & move up from there. Alternatively (also a source of stories for this series), contact The Innocence Project - they take up cases of people who've been convicted falsely & have their cases overturned, usually via DNA evidence that has since come to light.

I just want to say, though, that 42 year old "solved" case very likely has had any evidence thrown out... Kailey elise (talk) 13:19, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

A Different Narrator/Host?

I've always known Bill Kurtis to be the host of this show. Recently, A&E stopped showing it on the A&E Network and moved it to the CI Network (which was better when it was just called CIN in the guide, hahaha - they also moved Crossing Jordan over there). My cable company won't offer me the CI Network, so I thought I'd see if there were any torrents of CCF to download. I found 2 (allegedly ei 43 & 44), I grabbed them to get my CCF fix...only to hear some other (British?) guy narrating! The watermark on the screen states they are screengrabs from the CI Network. I came here to find out more info about this travesty, but there is nothing.

Does anyone know anything about another host? The odd thing is, I know I've seen these episodes before & at that time they were most definitely hosted by Bill Kurtis... Kailey elise (talk) 13:24, 2 November 2011 (UTC)

I've noticed versions on YouTube where there's a different narrator; it seems this version was redubbed for the United Kingdom. I found a site claiming British actor Anthony Green was the narrator for this version. [1] --Bladez636 (talk) 03:34, 2 July 2018 (UTC)

The right air date/info for Episode 44?

Episode 44 aired in 2001 and talks about how Richard Evonitz was sought for the murders of three young girls in Virginia. But there's a problem with that. In 2001, when this episode allegedly aired, the crimes were still unsolved. Evonitz wasn't even a suspect until the summer of 2002 after he kidnapped another teenager who was able to get away. So either the air date is wrong or the summary is wrong. Can someone help with this? PAKMan1988 (talk) 01:41, 4 July 2020 (UTC)
