Clarification Required[edit]

"The Cobray Company was a manufacturer of sub-machine guns and semi-automatic handguns. These were manufactured by SWD (Sylvia Williams Daniel)."

Is the company's name Cobray or SWD? What is the relation of the Cobray Company and SWD? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Darktangent (talkcontribs) 20:19, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ANSWER: the namebrand is cobray but made by swd. as hotwheel is made by mattel , ect.

This is not a satisfactory answer. The introduction says that Cobray company was a manufacturer. If Cobray is actually a name brand then it isn't a manufacturer. Perhaps the introduction should say that Cobray was a range of firearm products produced by SWD or something similar as appropriate. --Spuzzdawg (talk) 09:38, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Terminator Shotgun?[edit]

I've seen a few references to a very crude, single-shot shotgun produced by Cobray called the 'Terminator.' It appears it was chambered in both 20 and 12-gauge. If anyone has additional information from reliable sources about this design, it may be good to add. [1] Surv1v4l1st (Talk|Contribs) 01:13, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1500 Terminators were made, according to the Forgotten Weapons episode. See youtube. Skiendog (talk) 17:55, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Who are these people?[edit]

After reading the article in the current state I am very confused: Article mentioned Daniel (Leinad backwards), and divorce of Sylvia and Wayne. So who are these people and who are they connected to the company? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.119.240.84 (talk) 04:09, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ANSWER: swd stands for sylvia wanyne daniel, which was bc of them being top shareholders. later they changed the name to leinad bc of the change of the company.

Missing model name?[edit]

The 5th item for "Leinad models" reads:

"6 shot (manual rotation) 22LR derringer"

Isn't a model name missing here?

"Legal Trouble" ?[edit]

The article includes a sub-heading titled "Legal Trouble" but does not describe any events or circumstances. Also, the subsequent section indicates that the company was sold and/or the name was changed because of legal issues, but once again there is no description of said issues.
