For some reason Billy Wright was described in this article as an evangelical Christian. There is absolutely no basis for describing him as such so I removed the reference. You may as well have described Billy Wright as a pillar of the community (irony intended).

He was described as an evangelical Christian because Wikipedia is based on verifiability above all and the reliable source used for that sentence described him as an evangelical Christian. Your opinion (or indeed mine or anybody else's) of what makes somebody an evangelical Christian or not is irrelevant in this case as if it's in the reliable source then it's in the article.
