notability?[edit]

Is this person notable enough to warrant an article? The language in the article is a bit flowery, that's often a sign of problems meeting WP:BIO.--Rtphokie 00:24, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, "CliffyB" is a well-known icon in the gaming industry. I came here looking for more information about him after I read about him on another site, so I think he deserves to stay. --pie4all88 07:12, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I actually just came here seeking information about him after the webcomic Penny Arcade made fun of him, so I for one was glad to see he had an entry. 70.18.11.83 (talk) 18:20, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it deserves to stay because Denis Dyack didn't deserve his own page so maybe Cliff's Wiki should be merged with Epic games. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hglatinboy (talkcontribs) 06:37, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hope that is humour seeing the legal Battle between Epic and Silicon Knights. Besides, CliffyB stands on his own, notably as the man with the bunny suit :p . --JamesPoulson (talk) 15:01, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Haha. I have a feeling that Blizensk himself made this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.12.19.232 (talk) 01:13, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The difference between Dyack and Bleszinski is that people don't cheer wildly when Dyack appears on stage. 203.97.240.246 (talk) 12:17, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Are you serious? What crazy mob cheers at the guy that ruined Unreal? He thinks he's the messias of gaming, incarnation of creativity. But since it's not about oppinions, I'm not gonna tell you that I think he's an idiot. --91.16.40.167 (talk) 04:31, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cliffy B, no matter how you slice it, changed gaming with the Unreal franchise. He's one of the top 10 game designers in the world, and if not that, one of the top 5 in America, thus deserving a page. Does someone have to do something controversial, or offensive to warrant a wikipedia page now-a-days, because some of my favorite designers, film makers, and personas, don't have their own page, because their deemed to 'un-noteworthy'. I looked him up simply to obtain more information about him, and to catch up on my favorite designers. I say leave the page. -Gamingtrevor —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.201.13.57 (talk) 15:01, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Now Retired[edit]

Cliff stated on his Twitter that he is never making another game and then on his Facebook that he meant that as to say he is retiring. Captain Zulas (talk) 20:07, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
