The first footnote refers to a page in the book's index; the index entry for Handan Chun refers to a footnote. Neither of these citations supports the statement for which the footnote was created. Randlesc (talk) 07:17, 31 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

After carefully checking the references, neither of them support the claims made. The first reference to Cai is an index entry that leads to a footnote talking about Handan Chun's style of calligraphy and does not mention the book at all. The second footnote mentions the book but does not provide any information about it (e.g., topics it covers) except to say it is by Handan Chun and is found the collectanea Shuofu sanzhong 説郛三種. The biography of Handan Chun in Knechtges, David R., and Taiping Chang. 2014. Ancient and Early Medieval Chinese Literature: a Reference Guide. Leiden: Brill, does not mention the work by him at all.Randlesc (talk) 23:39, 9 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
