Sales[edit]

"Classic Queen" peaked at number one in Canada for 13 weeks, and it was 5 times platinum awards (in 1993), and nowadays sells are higher, becaues it stayed a lot of weeks on metal charts in that country. It was greatest hits version released in USA and Canada, and in both of those places it sold at least 3,500,000 copies (but some sources says about 4,500,000 copies in USA), and, when added to sales of grestest hits 2, total sales are approximately 20 millions copies.

I believe "Classic Queen" peaked at #4 on the Billboard album chart in 1992. --208.135.167.94 03:21, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Needs infobox[edit]

I have tagged this one for now, but will probably add one soon, unless someone else wants to do so. --WillMak050389 18:19, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, I tackled it. --WillMak050389 03:55, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There's a 1989 US promo album with the same name which opened and closed with the then current single "I Want It All" which isn't mentioned - see http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=9435 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.89.224.69 (talk) 20:01, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The version I have has the "Innuendo" album version of "The Show Must Go On"?[edit]

Is there a different version with the Tribute concert version on there?

Elton's version is on GH Vol3, from the ballet performance, right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.138.191.47 (talk) 19:12, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Now out-of-print/gone[edit]

Since Queen's Greatest Hits II has been released as a standalone in the US and Canada since 2011, is it safe now to declare that Classic Queen is officially over and out-of-print as a compilation album? 67.43.190.226 (talk) 17:45, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
