Mostly about African-American civil rights[edit]

This article is called Civil rights and Mormonism, yet almost all of the substance talks about African-American issues. There is little about women's rights, LGBT rights or other minorities. The slavery section completely ignores Native American slavery, which was much more prevalent among Mormons. It seems like most slave-owners brought slaves with them from the South, rather than acquiring new ones in Utah. Either this article needs to be rewritten or renamed. Good point. I created this page from information taken from Black people and Mormonism to help cut down on the length of that page. All the information focused on the civil rights movement. I'm fine to rename it to African-American civil rights and Mormonism.Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 17:05, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
