Proposed merge with UK Resilience Abbreviations[edit]

The UK Resilience Abbreviations article is just listing some abbreviations used by the Civil Contingencies Secretariat - I can't see that they need their own article. McGeddon (talk) 10:24, 26 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The list will end up far wider than just those used within the CCS as it will eventually encompass abbreviations from other government departments such as DECC as well as the emergency services and resilience professionals work streams. (Arthur Rabjohn (talk) 10:30, 26 February 2016 (UTC))[reply]

Nothing on the failings identified for years evidenced in the pandemic House of Commons committee hearings 26 May 2021?[edit]

BBC's Newsnight programme interview with government disaster adviser mentioned the Civil Contingencies Secretariat has been given idea and suggestions for years but ignored them. Dominic Cummings responses to the Parliamentary committees today only reiterated these.
