"CU received Environmental Quality Awards from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in 1994 [1] and again in 2000 for their efforts to procure the federal Wild and Scenic designation for the Maurice, Menantico, Manumuskin Rivers and the Muskee Creek. In the year 2000 CU was also acknowledged by the EPA for the work on an osprey colony, their annual raptor and waterfowl survey, the film “Down Jersey” and accompanying teachers’ guide, and the North American Wetlands Conservation Act."

This paragraph makes the group look like Citizens United dot Org, the political group. The correct name should be used; Citizens United For Resources And Environment Inc. A separate group.Longinus876 (talk) 12:56, 30 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Railbirding[edit]

Railbirding as it is used here does not seem to have the meaning of slang for horse race spectator given to it by dictionaries. From the context, it appears to either mean hunting rails (the birds) or observing and sighting rails. I can't tell which. This needs to be clarified, hopefully with wording that is more generally understood. Mark (talk) 19:54, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
