Girls Rock Glasgow[edit]

The band are sponsoring the school music programme "Girls Rock Glasgow" following the programme's loss of funding (article: [1]). I feel it's worth mentioning, but I'm not sure where it'd fit into the article. — Sasuke Sarutobi (talk) 08:47, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline[edit]

  • With those they're all on and off, With this one it's one straight forward for all bar one, As I said I don't think it adds to any sort of encyclopedic value to the article. –Davey2010Talk 17:57, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Listed genre incorrect[edit]

I just checked Chvrches page and it's listed genres are sludge metal, stoner metal and funeral doom, which must be a typo or mistake, since this band sounds nothing like those genres, more of a synth-pop kind of sound if anything, which is later referenced in the article under musical style, lending further credence that the former listed genres are incorrect — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.105.250.166 (talk) 00:47, 16 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy section over Chris Brown?[edit]

Should this page cover some of the same stuff that is covered in "Light It Up"? Nikki Lee 1999 (talk) 21:04, 22 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

While relevant to "Light It Up" as it was in the news a bit at the time, their temporary feud with Chris Brown is not a really significant part of their history, same as it's not part of Chris Brown's. Ss112 19:42, 24 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Mother" not on Recover[edit]

The second paragraph of the intro says "Chvrches released Recover EP in March 2013, which included hits 'The Mother We Share' and 'Recover'", but when I click through to the Recover article, it doesn't list "The Mother We Share" as one of the tracks. It explains how the Recover EP and the "Mother" single relate to each other in the timeline, but it doesn't seem to indicate that the song is part of the EP. So, unless I'm really dumb and missing something obvious, it seems that either the Chvrches article needs clarification, or the Recover article is incorrect in a very strange way. 173.212.84.213 (talk) 18:56, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
