I tried to fix that lack of space between 'the' and 'United States' (previously "USA"). Couldn't get it to work, so I gave up. -Zeno Izen 20:04, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly was the "Church of the Poison Mind"?[edit]

Was the song and/or the group as a whole against Christianity? Because I am wondering if they were implying the "church of the poison mind" was christianity? I thought this subject might need some clarification on what was the "church of the poison mind" exactly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.62.27.163 (talk) 21:01, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I read somewhere that the Church of the Poison Mind was drugs. Basically, comparing drug addiction to being brainwashed by a cult, and withdrawal to deprogramming, that sort of thing. Stonemason89 (talk) 22:12, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In an interview in the early 90's on MuchMusic, Boy George openly admitted it was a position taken by the LDS Church (Mormons) that Homosexuality was evil. The LDS Church has since changed their stance, and only the "act" of Homosexual Sex is evil, and will not take a position on whether it's nature or nurture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.213.82.151 (talk) 20:42, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
