Chinese-name template[edit]

The article starts with note This is a Chinese name; the family name is Chang.
Shouldn't that be used when there are Asian-style naming? There is no place in the article where such is used. 85.76.45.179 (talk) 02:04, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you and would support dropping it.
Could be worse, by the way. The article on the actress Wei Wei also includes the helpful clarification that "This is a Chinese name; the family name is Wei." TJRC (talk) 04:13, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
