Birthplace?[edit]

Can anyone confirm or deby where Chris Wood was born? Rhysashman, a known vandal, has added a link to the Chris Wood disambiguation page to a list of people born in Salford and by a process of deduction I've eliminated the other three but I can't seem to find a birthplace for this Chris Wood. I obviously want to remove the Salford link if it is incorrect. ThomasHarte 13:50, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Almost certainly not Salford! He speaks with a south-eastern English accent and lives in the south-east, and I believe he was born somewhere down thataway as well: probably Kent, I think? He was an early member of the Oyster Ceilidh Band (which later became the Oysterband), who got together in Canterbury, even though they include an Englisman, a Welshman and a Scotsman... (cue for a joke?) SiGarb 17:37, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely Kent. Probably Faversham area. Sorry I can't log-in at the moment - the most illegible captcha codes I've ever seen ! RK. 132.185.160.101 (talk) 13:55, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jack's Alive[edit]

The Oysterband article says 1978, not 1980 as here. -- Beardo 04:09, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The "official Oysterband discography" [1] says 1980. SiGarb | Talk 18:20, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
